Simulate a mesa 7i96 (solved)

Is it possible to simulate a Mesa 7i96 with a Arduino etc so as to be able fool the PC into thinking it has a 7i96 connected.

This is to be able to start the QTplasmaC gui  when not at the machine control box with the actual card.

Arduinо is not needed, you can just write a component.

Yeh, just use showpin and create a component with the same pins that does nothing.

I have never written a component, so stumped

whats the chance of getting a copy of this component. so i can use it as a template for other mesa hardware?
