5i23 5 volt power was created by billykid
as before i had 7i80 7i37 7i30 getting the 5 volts from a separate 5 amp power supply.
now I have replaced the 7i80 with the 5i23 since it has 400 milliamps per connector I would like to use that.
or better to use a separate power supply and remove the jumpers W1 and W2 so as not to mix the sources?
thanks

I would use the 5I23 5V especially for step/dir systems
that have low current draw.
that have low current draw.

Yes, removing that jumper disconnects pin 49
