Mesa 7i95 PWM Output was created by M_tz3
Hello Guys,
I have a 7i95 Card for my Mill, because 7i76 is out of stock everywhere in my region. I want to replace the spindle with a PWM controlled spindle.
How can I get a PWM Signal out of this card? My Mill only use 3 Axis, so is there any posibility to use one of the not used Step outputs for this?
If yes, how can I do this?
Thank you for your help.
Kind Regards
Matthias

Yes, you would use 7i95_1pwmd.bit firmware that replaces the last stepgen
(stepgen 5) with a PWMgen
(stepgen 5) with a PWMgen

I have the opposite problem, I cannot for love nor money get a 7i95 anywhere. 7i76 on the other hand is available.
I would happily get you a 7176 and pay the difference if you'd like.

@ Gruntled Raptor:
The Problem is, in my Machine the Stepper controller got a short circuit inside, when the mesa board was connected. I don't think the board was damaged by this, but I want to be safe, so I have to wait for my new Stepper driver, so I can connect it and test the board again.
Did you find a 7i76E? I need a version with Ethernet connection.
@PCW: Thank you for your Help

Fortunately, MESA had some proto 7I96S going so I've ordered one of them, should be fine for what you want though too?
