reversed the 24v input was created by roscogamer
Hello,
I have been tinkering with a mesa 7i76e and when connecting the main 24v input I accidentally reversed the plus and min, and now it won't turn on.
Did I completely destroy it, or is it just a broken diode?

You may have simply shorted out the reverse polarity protection diode
depends on the current capacity of the supply

OK, that sound promising.
Can I just remove the shorted diode and replace it?
And what diode is the dead one, I did notice a warm spot on the board afterwards.
Also, not sure now much it matters, but it was a 5 amp PSU
