hi everyone
I have a weird issue with my 5i25/7i76 combo... PncConf doesn't display TB4 to TB6 tabs, and selecting the 5i25 card throws an (Python?)error,
goes into a loop when trying to leave that screen, asking to click "accept components change" repeatedly, despite doing so.
Flashed 5i25_7i76x2.bit firmware, along with the corresponding .xml in /lib/firmware/hm2/5i25. Permissions checked.
The daughter card is externally powered, jumpers have been properly set (5125: W1/W2 down W3 up, 7i76 W2 right, 5V logic , 24v Vin / field power ok ),
There is no active leds on the 5i25 (is it alive?) , but two orange leds on the 7i76.
I 'm clueless, as every tried solution leads to the same result...
At least, the motors turn when testing them...(StepGen/Dir settings are visible).
What am I doing wrong ???
EDIT: I changed the Bios UEFI Boot setting to 'legacy' boot AFTER installation, is that a possible issue ?
(Using LinuxCNC 2.8)

I think this is a language issue with some pncconf versions.
A workaround is to temporarily change the locale to en_US
(This is not hardware related, pncconf doesn't look at the
hardware when creating a configuration)

LOL
I forgot about those kind of errors !
That would be great news, as I have no more hairs to pull out !
I'll check this Friday, and report the results...
THX !!

I reinstalled LinuxCnc in US-english,
PncConf recognised the board,
configuration is straightforward now...
thank you again.
