Actually I was wrong, pncconf does have at least one 7I92+ 7I77+7I76 configuration:

It's in fact a locale bug, I switched debian from french to english (US) and tabs appeared again in pncconf!
Thank's for your help.

Hi, work in progress, i have hooked 7i76 card on J2 from 7i80DB. I made a simple config on Pncconf with 3 axis , spindle with encoder and a few input, outputs.
Linuxcnc is happy with it and i can read the inputs and set outputs from TB6.
Now i try to read the spindle encoder but can't see anything in hm2_7i80.0.encoder.05.position for example when i turn the encoder shaft. The encoder is wired on TB3 in differential mode and all signal pins are alternating between 0.2v and 3V when the encoder rotates.

What firmware are you using on the 7I80DB?
Its likely the encoder numbering will not match
the 7I92 pinout pncconf expects.

I'm using 7i80db_25_7i76x2_7i77x2D.bit

I'm using 7i80db_25_7i76x2_7i77x2D.bit

In that case the encoder on the first 7I76 (connected to  P2)
would be encoder 12. Encoder 5 would be the last encoder on the
first 7I77 (connected to P4)
