After I did not manage to control my two Festo valve terminals, I now have to come up with a different way to switch my 24 valves.
Shortly to my project:
I have 24 vacuum cups on my milling table which I want to activate individually. For this purpose I have 2 Festo cpv14 valve islands with 12 3/2 way mono stable each.
At the end there should be a TAB in Axis where my 24 suction cups should be displayed and I can activate with a click on a suction cup in.
I currently have the following components in use.
- 7i76ed with the bit file 7i76e_7i76x1_5abobpD
the bit file is for the additional PWM's
- at P1 of the 7i76ed there is a 7i75 for my PWM's
- at the serial interface of the 7i76ed is a 7i84ed
on which due to my wrong connection of the power only the
half of the inputs and outputs are usable!
Now to my question:
is it possible to use the remaining IO pins with a 2nd 7i75 at the P2 of the 7i76ed for example to switch small 5V relays ?
Or does anyone have another idea how I can get additional 24 outputs?

7i75 (with an adaptor) should work on P2, possibly even with the existing bitfile. But you will only get 16 outputs.
A more expandable option would be the 7i74 and then one or more smart-serial boards.
Or, possibly replace your broken 7i84 with a 7i71 or 7i66 (if you don't need the inputs on the 7i84)
