Hello,
here briefly what I have in terms of hardware.
-Intel Nuc
-Mesa 7I96S with 7I85S bit file
-AasdServo
-MAHO MH600E
Mistake:
Whenever I switch the machine to On, the mouse spins(Laggy). In addition, the axes keep jerking back and forth.
If I deactivate the servos and then switch them on, everything is fine. When I activate the servos, the machine does what it wants.
If the servos are supplied with power but not activated, everything is ok.
I have already tested to connect the servos differently. But it did nothing.
I also went directly to the board with a different LAN cable, no improvement. it can't be because of the shielding.
It also doesn't matter which servo.
In addition, the jerking back and forth is recorded in Linux CNC, so the position is not lost.
The servo needs a 24v supply voltage. and the signals are normal 5v.
Maybe you have an advice
Thank you in advance for the help
greeting
Stefan

Assuming you are in Europe,
-use a grounded power plug, be it single or 3 phase, must have grounding
-that ground wire must be wired to a single point inside the electronics cabinet
-all grounds must go from that single point in the cabinet to each drive, power supply, and cable shields
-motor cable shields must be connected to the drives, if they are not pre-made by manufacturer
-motor wires should have ferite rings near the drive, although not always
-
Also, make sure the wall sockets have proper grounding.

yes i am in europe and i have everything grounded too. However, I still don't fully understand it because before that I had eding cnc installed and didn't have this problem.

Thanks for the answer, which just makes me wonder why the absolute value is included. even if the controls jump back and forth. no matter which axis. the absolute value also changes in linux cnc. I have no loss. I'm not using any glass scales at the moment. which is also strange. that the mouse is very laggy. one can hardly move this.

Sounds like something very basic is broken about your installation
What do
uname -a
and
ping 10.10.10.10
report?

If the mouse is laggy only while drives are enabled, it is an interference issue, quite bad, so a recheck of the wiring and shielding is the first thing to do.

I can't say yet, I'll test it tomorrow. I just think it's strange because there was another cnc controller before it and everything worked

Hello,
I tested a little today. and found the culprit.
So, today I switched a servo to enable while the Mesa 7i96S was deactivated. I also unplugged the LAN cable. so there was no connection. As explained above, the mouse pointer wobbled back and forth (laggy).
What I also noticed is that the power supply from the Intel Nuc has no ferrite cores.
I don't know how to fix it, but we'll see. I ran the Eding software on a laptop and Linux is now running on the Intel Nuc.

So now to the conclusion, it was up to the mouse. Tried another mouse and everything was fine.
