Yes, NVEM CNC controllers (with modified firmware) can be used with LinuxCNC.

If you need step/dir plus multiple high speed encoders (like the 7I95 has), the NVEM is probably not a good choice.

7I95Ts should be available in about 2 months and there may be protos available this month

If you need multiple encoders now, one option is a 7I96S+7I85S
( 4 additional encoders) or 7I96S+7I89 (8 additional encoders)

I would like to use it with 4 delta servo drives (one dual axis).
I'm just not sure, if its better to use step/dir with closed loop in servo drive, or analog + encoder with closed loop in linuxcnc. (if I understand it correctly).
What would you suggest?

7I95T protos were perfect so we will have a small quantity for sale in a couple of days.

A few 7I95Ts in the store now. Production qtys will be available in about 2 months

I guess these are also out of stock now. Any idea when would this or 7I95 be available again?
