Hey there,
i found an old interface which we identify as an "Parallel Interface 12/5".
So my questions are;
Which Software do i use to interact with it ?
What is it used for ? 
How old is it ?
And where can i install it   ?

Looks like a BOB, with some voltage regulators and relays, so first thing to find is where does power go.
I can not read the markings on the chips.
