Hi,

I have erased an FPGA sector 0x00010000, and the connection has been lost between the PathPilot controller and the Torstep board. Sounds like the IP address was erased from the memory device. I have restored the PathPilot to factory default and still have the same problem. any solution?
how can I connect back to the board?

What FPGA?
What is TorStep?

Moved to "driver boards" for now, or should it be at "Path Pilot" section?

Torstep is a card developed by Tormach for their machine, it uses Hostmot2 much like the mesa's card. I have used the commands to erase the FPGA FLASH EEPROM CHIP ACCESS sector from 7I92 ETHERNET
ANYTHING I/O MANUAL.

I refrained from asking the first time, but why would you erase that?

I'm new to linuxcnc and was performing read-and-write commands to see how the machine would act
