Linear Motion Control Card STB5100 was created by Erulmu
Hi,
I am a newbie low budget hobbiest. I haven't any engineering education, I copy paste cods or designs with a little change(can we say lamer in this case?)
I build a 3 axis laser cnc with marlin. (I can adjust it's user cods now) I built laser cnc, because I was afraid of routers energy.
Now I want change this cnc to a cnc router, after that If I can I will built separate cnc router. I bought an old computer with parallel port and install linuxcnc (I can't change GUI I will study some linux for begginners) , tb6600 drivers Mach3 card with lpt but I can't use lpt (cable is much more expensive than card) so I find this card, a 5 axis mach3 card. I like it for 5 axis and pendant. However I can't find out is it compatible with linux cnc. I wrote full story because I am open to all kind suggestion.
Thanks for every thing, sorry for poor English

USB Breakout boards will not work with linuxcnc. USB is not real time
If you have a PC with a parallel port, you can use a parallel port breakout board (25 pin)
