Hello,
I bought an old router, so the controller is "flintstone", signed Fred
Then i installed linux and linuxcnc on a separate pc, hooked a Mesa card 7I96S via ethernet to it.
Running linux pncconfig is no probem, there are even some LEDs reacting. The file was saved (properly I think)
Then I tried running linuxcnc and came the errors. The error report is found as attachment.

Could somebody send me in the right direction where to find the answers?
Kind regards,
Arthur Cloet

Make a new config that uses Axis GUI, see if that works.
Mesa seems to be found and working, but GmoccaPy fails for some reason.

Replied by PCW on topic Error when starting linuxcnc
This also must be a quite old version (pre 2.8.4) of LinuxCNC:

hm2_eth: Unrecognized ethernet board found: 7I96S -- port names will be wrong

The 7I96S is supported in LinuxCNC 2.8.4 and greater
