Spindle Drive 7i76e

hello we wired in the vfd in the following order

spindle -  => ground
spindle out => ai (analog input of the vfd)
spindle + => 10v from an external power source
spindle ena - => +5v
spindle ena + => di1
spindle dir - => +5V
spindle dir + => di2

Could the issue with our VFD/VFD settings and not the wiring?
