Hbs860h rs232 communication was created by szatri
Hello, I would like to ask owners of hbs860h (not hbs86h) to check whether the connection to the protuner program works. My 3 controllers just kept saying overnight that they wouldn't communicate. And I'm sure they worked because I have a good setup.
P.S. I have a good cable because it communicates without any problems with other hbs86h that I have.

Did you try lowering the communication speed, start with 9600 baud, if that is an option.

The program has a default value of 38400 and cannot be changed. I changed Windows from the default 9600 to 38400, also with no effect.

Did you communicate ok with your HBS860H drives yet?
I manage to communicate ok via the RJ11 connection and the Leadshine PC program.
Software available at link associated with this video; Franco advises installing both English and Chinese software versions, this was necessary and worked for me.
Do you get accurate motion using step & direction? I get inconsistent motion using an EC300 Mach3 motion controller (Remora firmware) and suspect a mismatch in step/direction voltage levels, although struggling to prove/disprove.
