How can I use the 48 I/O ports on the 7i76? was created by kofsky0328
I use db25 to connect 7i95 and 7i76D. I configured the following information in the hal file: net flood-output iocontrol.0.coolant-flood => hm2_7i95.0.7i76.0.2.output-00, but starting linuxcnc shows that hm2_7i95.0.7i76.0.2.output-00 is not found.
Attached is the firmware and pinout I use

Looks like the 7I76 field I/O is on channel 1 with that firmware
so the names would be like:
hm2_7i95.0.7i76.0.1.output-00
so the names would be like:
hm2_7i95.0.7i76.0.1.output-00

The problem remains, it still shows that hm2_7i95.0.7i76.0.1.output-00 does not exist.
The attachment is the halcmd show pin file

Is it possible that the problem is with the db25 cable?

Does the 7I76D have both field and 5V power?
(7I76D W2 Left, 7I95 W23 UP for 5V from 7I95)
The connecting cable should be flat a cable with
standard IDC (crimp-on) connectors

That should be correct
possibly cable?
Are 7I76 W3 and W1 left and VField > 10V?

Both w1 and w3 are on the left, and the VField input is 24V.
I'll order another cable to try.
