Hermle UMF 1000 was created by SRT
We have basically finished our first lathe retrofit to LCNC and have been very impressed with the level of support from this forum and our vendors (Mesa) and are starting the second even larger turning center. I just bought a Hermle UMF 1000 Milling machine with a Hheidenhain control and seimens drives and servos. Machine looks very handy having a universal horizontal/vertical head and a built in rotary table for the fourth axis. Cant wait to get it on the floor and start working on it.

Can be run in Horizontal or Vertical configuration. The table also can tilt manually right to left up to 30 Degrees.
