post your hal files and changes etc , i need to see what you are working with , the test files i posted do work well for raster.



but i do not know how you are triggering the laser etc , or your electronics etc ,
can you post a video etc , it could help

Are you still using G0 and G1 moves? That will make it show correctly in the preview (because rapids and feeds get shown in different colours) but mixing G1 and G0 will never give smooth movement.
How are you controlling laser intensity now? (S, M67, Z?)

If you accept for the moment that you can't have preview _and_ smooth movement, can you at least confirm that you can have smooth movement by replacing all the G0 moves by G1?

I think you probably also need "overscan" moves to have a constant speed across the image area.

To have preview you would need to make the preview widget plot a different colour according to the value of M67. This might actually not be very difficult, but I am not the chap who would know how to do it.
