Converting PLC based BRU-200 servos to LinuxCNC

Dear All,

I am considering to convert an older 6 axis CNC machine to LinuxCNC like this: Forvet Francesca 16M

Is it possible to connect ElectroCraft BRU-200 servo drives (also called OSAI 200 or Allan Bradley OSS-200) to some kind of Mesa cards?

I had to gather further technical details about the equipment, but so far I am mostly concerned by the old servo drives. AFAIK the servo parameters are stored in EPROM, and I couldn't find any documents/manuals related.

Thanks for the advices in advance

If the drives take a 0-10v control input and have encoder feedback to the control the conversion would be somewhat standard. The latest Mesa card is the 5i25 7i77 combo. The 5i20 plus 7i33 and 7i37 or two is also an option.

Someone here has a manual, maybe you can ask for a copy...

They do look like standard +-10V analog drives
