New use for the Tumble Dryer! was created by ScottBouch
I just started putting together my Lathe / Mill hardware....
The board is a really tough plasticy material - an old work top from a chemistry lab.
Still to screw the machine down, add a support leg, mount the motor, pulleys etc, but a step closer!
The lathe is a 100 year old Drummond Round Bed, 4" swing, 12" between centres. I have slides to make it into a milling machine / lathe. Planning on driving axes by toothed belts.
Cheers, Scott.

So, do I use the drum to store milling cutters, lathe tools, colletts, chucks etc...?

A washing machine would be better, you could use it as a coolant tank and use the pump to squirt it.So, do I use the drum to store milling cutters, lathe tools, colletts, chucks etc...?
