Only the mechanics will consume more than 1250€ if you will make a new machine.

that amount of money will not retch a 60x90 cm mashine

lets calculate realy basics
PLASMA hypertherm 1500Euro or a bad one like s-plasma 45 at 350euro it will work but!!
the driver stages at 100Euro etch 4times 400Eur
www.pro-tos.de/shop/Endstufen/Endstufe-H...-M880A-7-8A-80V.html
THE CHINA pices may give you a cut in cost but also a significant cut in SPEED

the steppers at 100 etch 4times 400Eur
www.pro-tos.de/shop/Schrittmotoren/Schri...H2120-42-8-8-Nm.html

at least 2 80V powersupples 80euros etch 160Eur
www.pro-tos.de/shop/Netzteile/Netzteil-SP-75V-5A.html

the board best to go is mesa 5i25/7i76 250Eur but a parport will give yo about 2500mm/min at 50Eur
for all electronic components you need to calculate on 1k Eur
the worm will aso add another 400euros you can shoot on ebay things for maybe 250 eur

LOW cost means no precision not usable for real work on that mashine size

Thanks for the feedback.
I not explained very well.
The €1250 is just for the drivers, motors, encoders and power supplies and maybe some software :)
I all read have the plasma, I have 3 plasmas :D
I know that I will spend about €4500 to €5000 in the machine.
Any one have a good setup/diagram for the machine??

If you have the plasma (plasma source and mechanics made), you need to inform what is the plasma source, weight of the gantry, and so on to calculate the working speed that the machine needs to get so that a proper motor configuration can be found.
If the plasma machine was already a CNC machine, looking at the current motors can help a lot of calculations, and in that case, why not using the current motors?

Hi!
I don't want use the body of the old machine and motor or any thing else, I want make a new one, using linear guides best motors and new hardware.
I also want use one pc with the linux cnc.
So I have one Thermal Dynamics Auto-Cut 200, one SAF Zipmatic 738 and one SAF Zip 5.
The gantry should weigh more or less 300kg.

For start you need (at least this is my recommendation, others are also possible, but this configuration is proved):

Mesa 5i25
Mesa 7i77
Servo motors
Servo drives

You can also have a THC (automatic control of the torch heigh).

Please check www.eusurplus.com for some prices. Store is in Portugal.
But my recommendation is to look at your current motors and see their specifications. That could help you deciding the new motors.
