Waking this ooold zombie thread..
but.. what does "random" and "non random" machine mean? ive figured its something with the tool changer. But no idea what. =)

A random tool changer does not put the tool back into the same pocket because the tool in the spindle is swapped with the tool on the chain or carousel.
A non-random tool changer puts the tool back then indexes the carousel to the next tool.
