L.S.

Iḿ considering upgrading my BF 25 mill with this motor:

www.kelinginc.net/CNCmillingcontroller.html
www.hipool.cn/en/productshow.asp?id=438

Now has the Chinese supplier sent me a datasheet on the controller which shows
it to have RS485/RS232 communications.

Has anybody got experience wit this motor/controller and RS485?

Regards,
marout

I don't have any experience with these particular motors or controllers, but I had a Kelling (rebadged Chinese) DC speed controller, which was positively dangerous.
Had high and low voltage AC and DC close together inside a plastic box, just waiting for a finger in the wrong place and chucked out horrible interference.

The picture of the controller is 6 years old and he does not sell it on his other site.

People like this seem to be cheaper and their products certainly look more professional

Sure someone will have experience of similar motors / controllers.

Since I already have the Sangmutan set; can you run the sangmutan motor with an anaheim speed controller?
