Low inductance Nema 34 stepper motors? was created by eFalegname
Good morning boys, a month that I'm looking for 4 stepper motors in Europe without success .
Someone could show me the right way please? I want to design a dual Y axys CNC Router, and I would need to buy 4x Nema 34 size steoper motors with more less 7A, low inductance 2mH and 6-7 Nm .
And certainly the digital drivers in accordance....
Please help me!

Nema 34 motor from eu.stepperonline:
34HS31-5504S = Inductance 3.5mH±20%(1KHz); Holding Torque 4.5Nm(637oz.in) best inductance but not good torque (I'm planning mill AL, I would need 60v power supply -I have a couple of 48V 600W 12,5A meanwell transformes); Rated Current/phase 5.5A
34HS38-3008S = Inductance 8mH±20%(1KHz) not good for router; Holding Torque 5Nm(708oz.in); Rated Current/phase 3.0A
34HS46-5004D = for me that's huge Inductance value 11mH±20%(1KHz); Holding Torque 8.5Ncm(1204oz.in); Rated Current/phase 5.0A
34HS59-5004S = Holding Torque 13Nm(1841oz.in); Inductance 11mH±20%(1KHz); Rated Current/phase 5.0A
Thank you rodw!

Also check their global site. There is a greater range of products. I have also ordered from them. It takes a bit longer as the stock is not local.

Hi again.
I found this stepper in Italy M1343031 , price 116€ each. I would like to pair them with EM806 Leadshine Drivers price 115€, and I have no clear idea of how to do it because the motor has "8 wires".
Any help will be really apreciated.

beautiful found about "How to Properly Connect a Stepper Motor to Unipolar or Bipolar Drivers" ...
...then my question is, can I connect the X and Y stepper motors in parallel and Z axis stepper motor in series to my drivers?

In europe you have Lam Technologies, they have by far the best stepper drives that i have used, and you can find those same drives at discount from Germany. They also have motora, but i never used them, mostly i use Sanyo motors.

You're right Tommy. I finally bought the Nema 34 Lam Technologies M1343031 steppers 6.8Nm-7.1A-2.2mH, attached the data-sheet of the series for those interested.
For the digital drivers I'm thinking on buying this one: Leadshine EM806
I want to use a couple of Mean Well SE-600-48 as power supply. What do you think?

I would advise to get those drives, they are more expencive but worth every penny. Do not forget to also get the programmer for them, you can not program them without it and it is just 28 euros.
I have nothing to do with them but i have a lot of their drives on production machines, and the microsteping on them is simply amaizing, making the smothest motor moves i have ever encountered.
