G76 with exit taper was created by pkasy
Hi everyone!
Who can show a photograph of the correctly executed cycle G76 with a exit taper?
On all my machines the cutter pauses and appropriately cuts the groove before exit taper. How to change this?
spindle_at_speed looks like stable.

How are you trying to do it now?
I don't have a Lathe, and have never programmed any threading, but according to the manual the exit taper is programed with the E word in the G76 line.
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.6/html/gcode/gcode.h...G76-Threading-Canned
This example is in the manual and should produce a 45 degree exit taper.

thank you.
but you don't have a lathe and you don't have a list of problems of axis for lathe.

of course, i know manuals. and my question is "why G76 makes GROOVE before exit taper?", not "how to use G76?".

I just played with sim - it seems to blend between the threading and exit move. can you post your ini and gcode?

Is it the same issue as forum.linuxcnc.org/20-g-code/29685-g76-p...aper-linux-cnc-2-7-0 ? If so, try an F0 prior to the G76 and see if that helps. I think the bug in the new motion planner introdced in 2.7.0 may still be there.
