After accidentally crashing the spindle orientation sensor and having extra 2kw china servos its time to be out with the old in with the new.

As fanuc motors had tapered axis first thing is to make new holes on ballscrew couplers, then proceed to wiring

Why you changing the Fanuc redcaps. I think I read a while ago they can be used.

That looks like a fun project....

I have no time to play with red caps, maybe sometime , one company from Vietnam makes fanuc compatible drives.

pl7i92 - It was not a physical crash , while removing the spindle cartridge for bearing change I broke the sensor ( fsh 1378 price around 1000usd )

Do you have to pay taxes for stuff from Bulgaria ? How much is the delivery and how long does it take ?
Serbian:
Da li moras da placas porez za stvari iz Bugarske ? Koliko kosta postarina i koliko traje prevoz ?
Regards,
Tom.

They have a local distributor in Serbia, because owner is from here so items get delivered directly, Prices are without VAT.

After careful measuring it seems that Y drive has short cables, also originally cables have been inside protective hose and because of connectors on encoder cable it will be impossible to pull them trough. So I will reuse the original cables , lots of soldering but less complicated than to pull trough all new cables.
