I accept that it doesn't, but I am not convinced that it couldn't.
Singularity avoidance should be possible in the kinematics module, it knows enough about the geometry.
Pose selection could, potentially, be handled by extra HAL pins linked to the kinematics module.

The big issue with linuxcnc and robots is that the kinematics module can't do any pose selection or singularity avoidance so inverse kinematics are useless.

Not impossible by any means, someone would just need to program the (extensive) functionality in and make it configurable. It's just a lot of work.
