I've been task with purchasing a CNC Router for our Carpenter Shop to primarily make signage - but hopefully many other things as well.

I've only been budgeted with $12,000 to purchase a complete work center and I need recommendations because that looks like only half the budget I actually need.

Are there any good, complete, router packages available in the 10k range allowing the other 2k for tooling?

He has put some effort in it, so i let it slide......after removing the link.
Do not know about this link as i am on the phone so i can not check, but some of those links can make a mess out of a windows computer when clicked, less of a mess on Linux systems. On windows it can attack and acces everything, on Linux only the browser.

My paranoia is telling me the OP may originate from the same place as the 5 tips for CNC engraving. Just advertising.

Where ?
For that price you get an old used and battered ( but massive ) machine or a chinese crappy one that will have the table sagged in about a week of use, already dealt with several of them.
The "Maho retrofit kit" on ebay is more than that, alone, and the quality is ...... i do not know, never found anyone actually used them.
