Greetings friend.
I have a cnc lathe, equipped with a 75hp motor, siemens drivers, unfortunately the driver has problems and the cost of repair is 4000 dollars. with 3 month warranty.
I have a 75hp AC motor. I want to place a Chinese 75hp (55kW) VFD, attached link. the query is whether that type of VFD is a good idea for linuxcnc. I have seen Chinese but very underpowered VFDs applied to linuxcnc.

i have the kits 5i25-7i77.
grateful for any suggestion.

That is a Delta VFD, and they do make some very high quality equipment, so i would assume it has plenty of control types included.
Since assumption is the mother of all f@kups, having a manual for it would help immensely.
Personally, i would buy that without to many questions, just would need to make sure that i am getting the real Delta, not one of the many counterfeits.
Linuxcnc can control VFD's with +-10V as you have the Mesa 7i77, or through RS485/ModBus.
