What should I do with the tach outputs I wont be using? Id prefer not to open up the servos just to remove them. Is there a proper way to terminate them?
xyz 90v dc servos
Thanks!

That's what I've been doing with no issues I know of. I was curious if anyone felt differently.

Keep in mind that depending on your tach, your open circuit voltage could be as high as 250 volts (gleaned from both Servo-Tek and Baldor specs). Probably far, far less than that.
And it's no worse than what you would find by poking around elsewhere in your system. Just be sure to isolate it well.
But if it were me, I would lean towards removing the brushes from the tach if that was possible.

I have them ran to a small din rail block up in the corner and out of the way. I could put a meter on them and see what their output is at rapid. They are MSI servos and drives on a Millennium 4200/Tree J-425. I haven't been able to find a lick of documentation for them. So when I had a problem with one drive they all got replaced. I'm curious to see what they output.
