I want to make a CNC lathe. For my spindle I use a 3-phase asynchronous motor. To make it spin I use a variable speed drive. VFD
However, I do not manage to make the motor turn with LinuxCNC.
In the attachment you will find my wiring diagram. Does anyone know how to do this?

I can't read that pdf for some reason.

Is there a better manual link?

Normally you would need to set the VFD into DIR/RUN mode
(as opposed for FWD/REV mode) to use it directly with the 7I76's
DIR/ENA outputs.

You should also verify that you can operate the VFD by just connecting
the inputs appropriately without involving LinuxCNC or the 7I76 at all.

maybe this link will work: VFD
Is it possible that I can't put my VFD in DIR/RUN mode or can every VFD do this?

Not every VFD can do it, but it looks like setting register 178 to 10 is part of it.

Look at the bottom of page 118, that shows both FWD / REV and RUN / REV diagrams.
