I agree with Henk. Mag scales are far more reliable. If you run coolant or in a dusty environment, there is no choice.
I'm sure you can find something closer to home than this.

Thanks!. Didn't know that these existed.
It can surely be dusty since I also machine fibre materials.
Will do some research on what's available in Europe!
