Hello Christoph,
Sadly, I didn't get notified about you post. So, many months later, what is your current status?
The machine is working, the retrofit was succesful but I am having some accuracy issues (for now, I believe it's the ballscrews)
You can browse this repository, all my work is there.

About tips, what is the current status of the machine? Is it in a working order?

Hi Petmakris!
I'm starting a linuxCNC conversion on a MH500W2 with a faulty Philips 432/9. Planning to use all your hard work in order to get it up and running again. I'll be using a Rpi5 and a 7I97T and three EXEs.
My first step has been to wire the mill to the 7I97T, but i have a question about the "Limit"s. In the MAHO documentation the limit switches seems to be connected in series 204-207,
did you rewire these or simply used 205,206,207 as limit X,Y,Z?
Regards,
Hampus
