I suspect the issue to getting those drives to work is that the controller was probably
providing the torque ( current ) control loop. That is, there appears to be analog current
feedback from the drive. This is similar to Fanuc drives of the same vintage. At one time I had
started the design of a interface board for the Fanuc drive but never finished it.
It had the drivers for the differential PWM the Fanuc uses and the 2 channels of A-D
for the current feedback.
I suspect its easier to just replace the drives/motors, unless you want to deep-dive
in to a fairly complex project.
Replacing the motor may be a last resort as it is large and very expensive.
I took out the SIMODRIVE611 piece. Found the IGBT part. It doesn't look very complicated. So the idea was to test it out before replacing it.
I used to do STMBL. and it may be adapted for use. But there is a problem with IPM 1200v
So I want to experiment with 3ppwmgen. Hope you support the 7i95t firmware again like you did in the past. 7i95t_5abobd
Thank you for your support.
I have a Cincinnati Milacron lathe it came with Arca drives. I kept the 10hp axis and 60hp spindle motor and replaced the drives. If they are Brushed DC servos with tacho feedback, i'd suggest searching for Siemens simoreg or glentek pwm brushed drivers, they work good, can be had affordably used and will work with the mesa hardware.

Thank you for your support all the time.7I95T config with 3x three phase PWMGens
I will test and report results soon.

But my motor is BLDC.

I just checked that the 7i95T in my stock has been sold. There is only 7i96s 5 pieces remaining I will order 7i95t again. When 7i77 is ready for sale

Now I'm trying to learn efinity software to use 7i95t_tpwmd as an example to modify it for use with 7I96S for testing only 1 motor While waiting to make the next order.
But it seemed like a difficult start to me. If you are free from work And without disturbing your time too much, I ask that you
Help create tpwm For 1 motor on 7i96S again
Thank.

Glentek offers BLDC drives, usually found in FADAL and other quality machines
