Need your opinion on Axes placement. was created by TimP
Is there in existence CNC machines with such axes placement. If yes how this types of machines called?
Red -> X, Green -> Y, Blue -> Z
Pros:
Clean working area, no way covers (only on vertical wall)
Easy way covers construction (plain sheet of metal)
Possibility to put long vertical work material (if to remove table or use other type of attachment)
4 and 5 axis could be added for rotating (smaller table or chuck)
Cons:
Please share your opinion

Seems not very common.
I have seen some grinders with moving column, but cannot find a milling machine.
... wondering why...
I found one example picture for a milling machine. I think this is about the rotary table, allowing to double the y reach by rotating the workpiece and then the overhang does not have to be as big?

My DMU50 looks kind of like this. That model is at least quite common i think.
Here's a fancy sales video of a 'newer' version of mine: DMU 50 3rd. Generation

Cartesian axes:
Refer to movement of tool
Standing in usual operator position, e.g. in front of machine
For vertical machine centre
X+ tool moves from left to right
Y+ tool moves away from operator
Z is axis inline with spindle rotation. Z+ is moving up
(just like an x,y,z 3D graph)
Z is always inline with spindle, so axes naming is "different" for a horizontal machining centre or grinder.

i guess in my case what i have drown that it will be mix of twos, since x axis(table) will move with + to the left (as usual cnc does) and others two as you said. Wondering can it cause any problems with configuration or smt else
