could you export out as a *STL file ? What file formats does MeshCam take?

You can add recognizable file extensions in the INI file under the heading [FILTER[ program extention:

"file extension is a .nc and my EMC2 doesn't recognize it." If your .nc file is in a text editor other than gedit, EMC2 won't read it and you would need to open your .nc file with gedit and save as a gedit file.
I have also tried Free CAD and just could not get my head around it but if you can handle the learning curve Blender is really good for 3D modeling and has STL export abilities.
