Thanks a lot for the post!
Is it possible to enable 5axis milling? What should be done for that?

I'm also looking for a Lathe version of the LinuxCNC Post Processor for Solidworks CAM (which is CamWorks 2.5D). I asked Solidworks, and they suggested that I either pay them $750 to make one, or write it myself with UPG. They won't provide the SRC file for the LinuxCNC mill post processor that they already have as a go-by, and I have been unable to locate anything online.
Has anyone made any progress on this, or is there something that I could use to start with other than a blank slate and UPG?

I have one that I use on my 2 axis lathe. As mentioned before standard lathe isn't too complex. Can almost run the fanuc post as is.
Edit: Oops: didn't realize how old this was.
