image to dxf

Hello, is it possible to generate a dxf file from a simple picture in bmp or what ever? For example a image like this one

yes you can , use such programs as scan2cad , wintopo , theirs also extensions available for Inkscape
that will take it directly to gcode ... see gcodetools plugin http;//www.cnc-club.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&p=101

for a tip dont use JPG as image format , best to use TIFF and is in black and white , no greys .
