Mastercam X6 post to LinuxCnC

Hi, I'm using Mastercam X6, but as i use MPFAN.pst for posting to G-code, it is .nc format.
the linuxCnC doesn't seem to like this format...

i just downloaded the EMC2.pst from for masterCam v9, using the

Settings -> Run User Application (Alt +C) -> updatePost.dll

to update the v9 for x6, it works great!

however it still saves over to .nc file?
may I edit this file for .ngc or how should i go about doing this?

all you need to do is to rename the file produced to .ngc

or add in the filter section of your INI FILE
PROGRAM_EXTENSION = .nc
