That's probably as close as you will get for Free Open Source.
For commercial CAD/CAM on Linux: www.webersys.com/ is the only one that I am aware of. (Other than Siemens NX which is probably too expensive to even mention)
PyCAM is only 3-axis.
sites.google.com/site/heekscad/news/linuxversion is (at most) 3D
Windows/Mac only, but Autodesk Inventor Fusion might be worth a look.

What about cnc tookit?
cnc-toolkit.com/
www.google.com/search?q=cnc+toolkit&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
groups.yahoo.com/group/CNC_Toolkit/
www.cnc4free.org/
its open source AND 5 axis.
i'm sot sure what configurations it works for
other than the one with the B and C axes attached to the z axis.
(is there a term for that? C + A axes = trunnion Z + B + C = ?)
be sure to check out and download the manual
at www.cnc4free.org/ under tutorials.
i haven't actually used the tool kit due to the time it takes to learn
gmax etc. and the fact that i only have a xyz machine at the moment.
also there is 5axismaker.com/ under 5axis at the top there is
soft ware but i don't know what kind it is.
there may even be a Kuka application. (or other robot)
I'm pretty sure mr. Jabi
is in the yahoo group too.
hope this helps.

I think the problem of a good 5 axis CAM open source software is still exists in Linux.
None of above projects, urls solved my task to create a toolpath for 5 axis cnc machine.
