New CAD/CAM Software called ProfileCAD was created by UnfinishedBusiness

Hello, I have a really good start on a CAD/CAM program thats multi platform and completely free/open source. I aim for it to be comparable to Mastercam v8 in features and workflow. Im looking for some traction on the project and i'm hoping to find others with coding skills that may be able to contribute in some way. Its at github.com/UnfinishedBusiness/ProfileCAD

I did give it a try but it needs wxwidgets, and that won't compile for now, so I’ll give it a try when i am more awake !

I am glad you are doing this. I still use Mastercam V8 regularly. Have been looking for a comparable program for Linux. Sorry I cant help I know nothing about writing this kind of code.

Tommylight - Sorry to hear your having problems with wxWidgets. When I get a chance, I'm going add a configure script to make sure dependencies/versions are met. If you need a hand resolving your compilation problem, create an issue on GitHub with some detail and I'll see if I can help.
