G'Day Gang,
I am playing around with Inkscape Gcodetools and find the gcode that is generated has a lot of travel from one end to the other often. I simulate in Camotics.
Can you tell me if there is something in the setup of Gcode tools that will sort the travel moves to start at one end and work through to the other end?

Extensions>gcodetools>path to gcode> there is "sort paths to reduse rapid distance"
Click that.
It is misspelled there, it should be "reduce" .

Hello,
I have attached a ngc file that still goes all over the shop in the simulator and the svg from Inkscape. I ticked the sort path box in the Gcodetools but didn't seem to make any difference. I had the sort box checked already.

PS: I had attached a .nc file that I can't seem to delete. I have clicked on the remove button but does not remove file.

I can not see the attachment, but if i chose to quote, it does show as attached !

Don't know what happened with the svg yesterday because I did attach it but here it is again.
