My CAD / CAM research

I have plenty of stories, like the first ZX Spectrum i bought in Hungary, customs asked me "what is that" going back into my country, i replied "washing machine programmer, see all plastic buttons so water" and he just nodded and let me pass! Tried the same after about 6 months, did not go smoothly, they learned what those are, had to pay something like 300 Deutche Marks.

The thing about stories or memories, the f@king war here taught me to make as much good memories as possible, i needed those plenty times during my life.
Memories are the only thing no one can take away from you!!!

Completely agree . Except my enemy has been my Crohns disease and more recently My back injury..Nothing
compared to what you have had to live through..

A fork of FreeCAD, with many improvements, they say.
Will report back after i give it a run whenever i might need designing and 3D printing something.

SimplexCAM can be used free of charge by everyone on Saturday and Sunday. This allows people to use the software free of charge for non-commercial purposes. Make sure you don't have an activation code in the license dialog. See menu: File -> License -> Remove any activation code. It is possible to activate this free license only via the online license server. Thus, the PC on which SimplexCAM is running needs an internet connection. However, the adaptive roughing strategy (trochoidal roughing) is deactivated.

ECam is Free On Weekend
ECam is free to use on Saturday and Sunday for everyone.
This allows free usage of the software to people for non-commercial purposes.

SimplexCAM and eCam look quite the same. Couldn't find any differences so far except the price. Could you?

jag har testat båda och de fungerar bra om man ser till kostnaden.

eCAM är originalet som sedan översatts och anpassats av en Alibreåterförsäljare i Schweiz. Det är ingen skillnad på dem förutom just språket och - gissar jag - att skriptet till Alibre endast fungerar med SimpexCAM.

Vad jag vet är det en Alibrekund som köpt SimplexCAM men jag har inte återkopplat hur det fungerar för dem.
