I managed to update Community Builder and Joomla tot the latest version and did a test code post in off topic. The only snag now is you need to press the code button then paste your code in. And FINALLY you can edit your post without the code tags getting screwed up!

The next task is to fix sendmail now that I know the forum uses that to send emails. I tested sendmail via the admin interface and it is not working. A chap on the IRC is pretty savvy with low level linux stuff so I'll have some help.
