Moving off limit switch

I just got all my motors and limit switches hooked up to my machine. My x and y have one switch each that is for both positive and negative travel limits. The Z has two switches, one for the positive limit and one for the negative limit. I have jogged the machine around and hit a limit switch and the machine then can not be moved off from it. How does one move the machine off a limit switch?

There should be a button called 'override limits' that will allow you to jog off the limit.
