Latency problems solved! Easy fix: Lubuntu instead of Debian

Hi all!
I just wanted to share my experience. Maybe it server others with similar problems.
I started with LinuxCNC using the Debian-based install that is provided via the downloads section.
I then started tuning for latency pretty much according to this thread:
forum.linuxcnc.org/18-computer/25927-red...lticore-pc-s-success
In latency-test the results where good, below 7000 for both threads.
However, in latency-plot the results were very bad, up to 400.000 thousand.
Now I have a very easy fix:
I simply used Lubuntu 12.04 and installed according to
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.7/html/getting-start...ng_on_ubuntu_precise
I then performed the same tuning as mentioned above, and voila!
I now have very low jitter with spikes of up to 7000 in latency-plot. (running 4 glxgears, 1080HD movie and chromium)
Cheers
