Hello
My machine is currently working with 5I25 / 7I77 / 7i74 / 7I70 / 7I71 /
Now I wanted my handradencoder and my feed override encoder
Unfortunately, the 7I70 does not manage to detect the signals. Apparently the current is too low.
Is there a card from Mesa that processes the encoder signals for little money?
Or does someone have a ready low cost solution?
Mfg Dirk

The 7I77 can support 2 MPGs on its field I/O (inputs 16,17,18,19)
If you want a remote card for this, the 7I73 is a possibility, it supports up to 4 MPGs

Hello
I tend to the 7I73
Could get potentiometer in 1K / 4.7K / 10K / 47K / 100K / 470K ohm for the analog inputs.
What would be the best result in your opinion?
Kind regards

You can use potentiometers with the 7I73 analog inputs

The advantage of potentiometers vs encoders is that they are absolute devices and stay where you manually set them

The disadvantage of potentiometers vs encoders is that they are absolute devices and stay where you manually set them (this make it harder it get along with GUIs controls that may override the manual setting)
