Random travel movement when homing was created by MAG45
I have another thread concerning my problems with homing, but I wanted to start on more focused on this problem as I think I need to fix it first before i can really diagnose the homing accurately.
When I try to home, any axis rather the smooth and consistent search velocity it stops and goes in random increments. You can see it doing this some in this video drive.google.com/open?id=17iw6w5ifycwJvoJip5REzNJ3bdpBuI27lw and in this one on the Y drive.google.com/open?id=1bC_b-4XcMtSExp-aDmVQH_0k_1xkq4u7gQ
I have been asked about the Kernal, but I dont know what im looking at drive.google.com/open?id=10qYVz1ET4bnv7KjTFOoc2763QwO72sfvOA
I can enter gcode and have any axis move smoothly to any position without problem.
I am pretty lost with the inner workings of Linux, all I have ever used on the OS is LinuxCNC.
I am running a dell optiplex with a Intel dual core 1.8 and 4gb ram using the PPort to a C10 BoB with the latest live install of LinuxCNC as of the 22nd.
Is there some setting for the home search method I have missed?
thank you
