LinuxCNC Error was created by sidkan
Hello everyone,
I am facing a situation with LinuxCNC application. When the LinuxCNC application is launched, it shows
Linux parallel port @49152 not found
I cannot issue MDI commands. I can control the machine manually using hotkeys and onscreen button.
I need a solution to this problem.
Thank you.

Are you using a parallel port?
Is the machine connected to the parallel port?
You say you can control the machine with the keyboard, is it moving, can you home it? Are all of the axis homed? (MDI commands cannot be issued until after the machine has been homed.)

I can home the machine. Everything seems to be working now. But the error "Linux parallel port @49152 not found" is still displayed.
I don't know how that affects my application.

Can you attach your HAL and INI files to a message here?
49152 is 0xC000 in hexadecimal.
Is it this?
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/238
(Sounds a bit different, but suggess the next question: Which version of LinuxCNC are you using?
