I will connect MPG on 7i37COM . How to link encoder A and B to it ? Do i have to load encoder module , addf encoder ... just like it would be on parallel port ?
I will use 3 port . I/O from 49 to 72.

Yes, you would have to add the software encoder, just like a parallel port
(except for the input signal names)
If you are running LinuxCNC 2.9 there is the possibility of using firmware with
the INM module that provides hardware debouncing and 4 MPG encoder channels
on GPIO pins
